Scampi Piccante

MMmmmmm, even when i think about it, i get hungry haha.
I make this regulary and it tastes so good every time, but i like spicy and especially estragon. The mix with the scampi has something special, i tell you!

First of all it’s important to remove the faecal matter, nothing worse than to have some “sand feeling” between the teeth and i think it’s disgusting too. Sometimes when you buy Scampi, it’s already done, but i always check. I must say that this is one of my favorite dishes!

Creamy Salmon Tagliatelle

Omega 3 power!

Oh i so like making pasta. it really does not take much work. When i knead my dough, i let it rest for 20 minutes in plastic wrap. In the meanwhile i do some things in the kitchen like filling the washing machine or prepare my pasta machine on the table.

After those 20 minutes i split my dough in half and start rolling the dough through the machine. I go to position 6 and then immediately i go cut my pasta too. Do the same with the other half.  No resting time in between anymore, as long as you make sure your pasta is dry and not wet anymore. Therefore i regulary sprinkle my pasta with flour using my Marcato Dispenser
Then i hang it all on my Tacapasta from Marcato to dry a bit.
That’s how i make my pasta and i do that several times a week. Need to think about making a movie while making my dough :)

Super Vega Stew

Colder days, longer nights, time to start making some Stews!

I got this recipe from Delicious Magazine, but i adjusted it a bit to my experiences. I made this dish before as the recipe is in the May issue of 2014.
I hate that summer is gone, but i’m also happy that i can start making some stews and other things like Pies and start using some autumn vegetables.

This stew is very tasty and is super for Vegans as it has no milk, cream, eggs or meat.
I made it yesterday and tonight we can eat more of it. So it’s perfect when you don’t have much time to cook, as you can eat this stew for 2 days or even freez it in for later.

Mason Ball Milk Frothing

Sometimes the simplest things work perfectly

My favorite coffee is Cappuccino and it’s not really a challenge to make it yourself in a healthy way, which means not made with whipped cream like many bars do...
The real Cappuccino is made with frothed milk, but how to froth your milk without spending too much money on tools or an expensive machine?

Well i discovered a great way to have nice foam on your milk for your cappuccino using only a Mason Ball Jar and your microwave :-)

Recently i bought myself an espresso maker (moka induction) to make my morning coffee. I was tired of drinking Cappuccino bags from the store which tasted too sweet with al the sugar added.
I chose Bialetti, cause it sounds so nicely Italian :D

Cheesecake Blueberry Bombe

Deliciously Fruity

Sometimes i go to the market and buy me some fruit, but then when i come home i start to think what i’m going to do with all that fruit LOL.
So i came home with 500 gr of Blueberries. First i did not really know what to do with it, till i came up with the idea of making a small cheesecake when i saw all that cheese in my fridge.
Yes, my favorite food is cheese :D
As we are only with 2 at home, i did not want to make a big cheesecake and as i have a new addition in the kitchen >> my Philips Airfryer XL, i simply wanted to try it out as well! I already have a lot of success with making French Fries, but this oven can do so much more.
